Help Us Build a Safe Place for the Animals in Marion County, TN
Your generous donation plays a crucial role in preventing animal cruelty and neglect in Marion County, Tennessee. Our top priority is securing a property to establish an animal shelter—a much-needed resource for local law enforcement and our community.
Why This Matters
When responding to animal-related complaints, law enforcement officers often face a major challenge: there is no designated place to take animals that are in danger or roaming at large. Our two local rescue organizations are overwhelmed and often at full capacity.
To address this, we have coordinated with local government and the sheriff’s department to design a shelter that will:
✔ Serve as a reliable resource for law enforcement
✔ Promote public safety
✔ Prevent animal cruelty and neglect
Our Plan: Bo’s Buddies Shelter Project
We are rolling out this initiative in two key phases:
🔹 Phase One: "Project Property" – Our immediate goal is to secure land for the shelter. We hope for a generous land donation, but if not, donated funds will be used toward purchasing property with guidance from the local government.
🔹 Phase Two: "Project Shelter" – Once the property is secured, we will focus on building the shelter. Any excess funds from Phase One will go directly into construction efforts. We also hope to receive support from local building supply stores, contractors, and volunteers—because our community is always at its best when working together!
